What does gravitas smell like?
The main note I get from Gravitas is patchouli. This earthy / chocolatey patchouli dominates the whole fragrance to my nose and on my skin. Hints of Oakmoss and lavender follow. On my skin, Gravitas does not perform well.

Gravitas Pour Homme was launched in 2020. The nose behind this fragrance is John Stephen. Top notes are Lavender, Mandarin Orange and Bergamot; middle notes are Cardamom, Coriander and Pepper; base notes are Vanilla, Patchouli, Oakmoss and Ambergris.

It has been reviewed very positively by many fragrance reviewers on YouTube and they largely did a great job. I have now owned a bottle of Gravitas for over a year (this is an updated review) and rate it a very respectable 9/10 for the scent itself and a 7/10 for performance.
What do you like about gravitas?
I like the combination of Gravitas' maturity and playful character. This could easily be a signature scent. It smells nothing like most fougeres to me, which tend to be more like lavender bombs. Loving the impact of the cardamom, ambergris, and vanilla, which make the scent more mass appealing.
